Product Marketing Manager – Cloud Collaboration

Our client is seeking a dynamic high-tech product marketing professional for a breakout opportunity, leveraging breakthrough technology and cloud computing, to redefine the enterprise collaboration market. This is a highly entrepreneurial position. The right candidate will have a proven background in taking new technology products to market and be able to successfully define the market opportunity, the products and their value, and customer targets in an ambiguous environment. These breakthrough technologies differentiate our client’s solutions, which span personal and team productivity, and collaboration data management, and play a critical role in both driving growth and serving our client’s loyal customer base. The right candidate will work closely with other collaboration-focused product marketing managers and the collaboration solution manager, in addition to a cross-functional, highly motivated team, including local and international representatives from product management; services; sales; and partner, corporate and field marketing.

This is an individual contributor role with responsibilities that include defining market opportunity, product value and customer targets; developing product messaging, marketing strategy and programs; creating collateral, sales tools, competitive information and Web content; participating at events; delivering internal/public/press/analyst presentations; coordinating with global sales and marketing teams, etc. Position requires periodic travel.

Work seamlessly with a cohesive marketing team that works both together and independently to drive the strategy and execution for the company’s end-user computing marketing efforts. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Thoroughly understand current customer needs/requirements for relevant product segments. Understand how our client’s offerings can meet customer needs, stand out from the competition and serve customers’ broader business goals.
  • Thrive in an entrepreneurial team environment yet drive and deliver on individual responsibilities.
  • Contribute to market requirements documents and market plans with an understanding of market trends, competitors, market segments, and marketing strategies and tactics, with the goal of enabling sales teams, building awareness and generating demand for our client’s end-user computing offerings to accomplish business goals.
  • Develop awareness, enablement and lead generation tools including Web text, brochures, white papers, presentations, etc. and work with worldwide field operations team to enable the partner, sales, consulting, and services organizations to compete effectively and succeed in the market.
  • Support teams such as field marketing, corporate marketing, corporate communications, analyst relations, public relations, and event marketing with content and participation in their plans and activities.

Individual Contributor. Reports to Director of Solution and Product Marketing for the End-User Computing focus area.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • MBA preferred; Bachelors Degree required in Business, Marketing or similar major
  • Minimum of 8 years of high-tech marketing experience, preferably in collaboration technologies/solutions
  • Experience enabling and/or selling through the solution provider channel
  • Experience working with a cross-functional and international team
  • Strong entrepreneurial, strategic and functional marketing skills
  • Demonstrated messaging and positioning writing skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated; ability to take ownership about assigned projects; ability to work independently and with a team

RELEASE ENGINEER

The Release Team is critically inserted in the software development flow at our client’s company. They schedule, document, package and deploy all software changes to production on all of our platforms. They make sure that what runs in production is both sane and expected. Responsibilities of Release Engineer:

* Support and improve our tools for release management and deployment
* Stage new releases and promote them to production
* Troubleshoot deployment issues on live systems until the problem is fully understood and its effects mitigated

Requirements of Release Engineer:

* BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
* At least 2 years experience in software engineering, release engineering, and/or configuration management
* Strong familiarity with software configuration management, svn and git experience highly desired
* Extensive knowledge of Linux and SQL databases
* Solid foundations in scalable, web software architectures
* Highly skilled in a scripting language, a bash/python combination ideal

Five years of experience in dental practice management software sales, and management of a team. Dental industry knowledge, sales management experience, and sales mentoring abilities along with computer proficiency. Responsible for ensuring maximum revenue growth of the Enterprise products and services through direct and indirect management of the company’s national sales organization. Assist in developing objectives for sales functions related to volume, cost of sales, product profitability, and competitive position with the market place; establish and maintain effective communication with appropriate directors and managers across the company to ensure the proper level of sensitivity to needs of field operations; and handle difficult sales negotiations.

Responsibilities:

Ensure maximum revenue growth of all Enterprise products and services through direct and indirect management of the company’s national sales, sales support, and consulting organizations.

* Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams.
* Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in core products.
* Provides quarterly result assessments of sales staff’s productivity.

Regional Sales Manager

Summary of Position:

Supervise and support the Technical Sales Representatives within his/her identified territory. Work with the management team to establish and implement sales strategies throughout the territory.

Reports to: National Sales Director

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

* Direct, coordinate, and review activities of Technical Sales Representatives and Inside Sales Manager
* Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.
* Train TSRs on sales strategies, company policy and procedures.

* Inspects establishment premises to verify installation feasibility, and obtains specifications and drawings to submit to engineering department for bid.

* Arranges for installation and test-operation of machinery and recommends solutions to product-related problems.
* Contacts current and potential customers, visits establishments to evaluate needs, and promotes sale of products and services
* Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
* Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
* Participate in preparation of Quotes per specifications.

Education and Experience:

Requires a Bachelors Degree in Business or a Technical discipline, 5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area and 2-4 years of supervisory experience. Knowledge of valves, actuators, and controls strongly preferred.

Additional Skills Required:

* Requires knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
* Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
* Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
* Requires excellent computer skills, ability to work with detail, good organizational skills, solid math skills, superb time management skills, and excellent problem solving ability.

Salary: Negotiable, with benefits package, plus annual bonus pay plan.

Work Conditions:

* Flexible workweek, hours may vary.
* Extended hours may be required based on business needs.
* Travel to other facilities and training would equate to no more than 50% of a workweek.
* General work will be primarily conducted in a climate-controlled office setting with a minimal flow of people.
